Overview:
Activip's ActivNews creates a ‘Notice Board’ area within Sage CRM, allowing important information to be easily distributed to CRM users.
Viewing the Messages
Messages appear on the Dashboard area of Sage CRM, broken down by Global News and Department News.
If required a Team can be selected for each message, ensuring users only see messages which are appropriate for them. If no team is selected all Sage CRM users will see the message. |

Entering the News Items
Messages are entered in HTML allowing for text
formatting and images, making messages more
personalised and eye-catching.

An expiry date can be
applied to messages,
keeping the news
relevant. |

Only users with access to the Administration area can add and edit News items, but they can be viewed by any users or user groupsMessages scroll through the window and pause when a user’s mouse hovers over the display, allowing users to easily read long messages. Messages are automatically removed from the News area when their expiry date is reached, as specified in the message settings. |
